Certottica is a Notified Body in Brussels as a recognized Certification Institute, authorized by the Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies to issue conformity certificates for the CE certification of protective equipment. It has agreements with the Directorate-General for Market Harmonization and Consumer Protection of the Ministry of Economic Development, the Customs Agency, and ANFAO, in order to protect consumers’ health and safety, safeguard companies that operate correctly on the market, and carry out surveillance activities within the optical sector.
Working with constantly updated and accredited laboratory tests guarantees that the resulting test reports will be internationally recognised by all Mutual Recognition Arrangements (MRA) signatory countries.

CERTIFICATION
Certottica is subject to an annual surveillance audit by ACCREDIA, the Italian national accreditation body appointed by the Government to verify that certification bodies and testing laboratories possess all the necessary competencies to assess the conformity of products, processes, and systems with the relevant standards.
Certottica is accredited by the Veneto region as a lifelong learning and higher education institute for labour services. It is UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 for the planning, management and funding of professional training courses.
